*The Main Event must be listed on the WIN (we will consult the results of the WIN for points) under the title:

“Majestix Open Series $1k Trial”

*4-6 Rounds of Swiss followed by a cut to a Top 4 or Top 8 Single-Elimination Playoff

*45-minute Rounds

*End of Game Procedure is Last Round

Open Series Points System (2023 Season)

Each player who competes in a Win-A-Map (Trial/MOC), Qualifier (ICQ), or Regional ($1k) will be awarded Open Series Points (OSPs) based on their performance. Each player will need either: 50 (OSPs), win a Qualifier, or Top 4 at a Regional ($1k) to play in the Invitational Main Event. Please consult the table below:

*3rd Place: 22 pts

At the end of the season, the Player with the most Open Series Points will be crowned Player of the Year! Check the Rankings to see the prizing and what else you can do with OSPs.

Win-A-Map Kit Info

*Each Trial Kit will support up to 8 players

*Suggested Entry Fee is $10
-If Entry is set at $15, supplemental prizing is required

*There could be additional prizing per the venue’s guidelines (usually based on attendance)

*The Winner of the Trial will receive 1st Round Bye (300VPs)

*This is a great way to get players to go to your venue, and perhaps generate more revenue for your store throughout the day with Battle Royale Side Events and the like

The 2023 Season will have 3 levels of events:

*Win-A-Map (WAM) – $80
-Supports up to 8 players
-Any store/playgroup/game club can order this
-Can run any 300pt format you like

*Invitational Championship Qualifier (ICQ) – $400
-Supports up to 16 players
-Store/Venue must be approved by Majestix
-Requires additional prizing from venue

*Regional/$1k – $600
-Support up to 24 players
-Only 4-6 will be held all year
-Must be approved by Majestix
-Requires additional prizing from venue
